AAW have got the file, it can be downloaded HERE as an alternative to Inspire, more local mirrors the better :)

There should be an AAW server up later this evening, watch THIS thread for more info.

Running any CD Emulation software such as Damon tools or Alcohol 120%?

If so try disabling them. Do a search for the error in google and you should get some similar problems and solutions.

Not much really, someone else had the same thing and it turned out to CD Blanks or some such, basically a copy-protection-workaround program.

Other google'd solutions are:

- Go to the exe's properties (right click, etc) and set the compatibility mode to Win 2000

- Make sure yyou're not using / running any of the following:
* Alcohol 120%
* Blind Write
* AntiBlaxx
* Daemon Tools
* Game Jack
* Clone CD
* Game Jackal
* Xoom Game Clone
* CD Space
* Virtual 7 CD
* Fantom CD

... the joys of Securom7 ...

OK...done the compatibility mode, uninstalled Daemon tools. I don't have any of the other ones installed (Or heard of them), I have allowed permissions etc...with no luck.
