Not much really, someone else had the same thing and it turned out to CD Blanks or some such, basically a copy-protection-workaround program.
Other google'd solutions are:
- Go to the exe's properties (right click, etc) and set the compatibility mode to Win 2000
- Make sure yyou're not using / running any of the following:
* Alcohol 120%
* Blind Write
* AntiBlaxx
* Daemon Tools
* Game Jack
* Clone CD
* Game Jackal
* Xoom Game Clone
* CD Space
* Virtual 7 CD
* Fantom CD
... the joys of Securom7 ...

OK...done the compatibility mode, uninstalled Daemon tools. I don't have any of the other ones installed (Or heard of them), I have allowed permissions etc...with no luck.Noon416 wrote:Not much really, someone else had the same thing and it turned out to CD Blanks or some such, basically a copy-protection-workaround program.
