1701AD

Post by Inspector » Sat Nov 25, 2006 7:01 pm

Got a copy of a new game called 1701AD from VR Concepts on Friday and took it home. The kids spotted it in my hand as I got out of the new car so I was greeted by offers of "do you need help getting stuff out of the car dad?", although their eyes never strayed from the unopened game box whilst they said it. So anyway, I moved my hand that was holding the game slightly in their direction and it was gone like a shot as the scampered in the direction of their PC's.

My youngest Nathan (11) was hard at it this morning when I got up and seemed to be enjoying it so I said Happy had asked us to report back on what we thought about it as a few of the boys were considering getting it..............so here it is. A report from my 11 year old who has more experience at playing these types of games than most of us put together. I believe the first line of his report says it all!

Also not that this report was totally written by Nathan in Word, he installed Fraps and took the screenshots himself and inserted them into Word where he wanted them. I took a screenshot of the Word doc and turned it into a jpg and uploaded it.

For an 11 year old, he's done a awesome job. _b

Might be tempted to get this game for Christmas...
