Looking forward to it, the SP game sounds like it will be a lot of fun and quite challenging.

I'm quite looking forward to running around the Chernobyl area, given the way they've built it to resemble real ilfe, it'll almost be like walking around there yourself. :)

I put my pre-order in the other day, been looking forward to this for about 4 years :)

Very keen to see how the AI turns out. The previews show so much promise in this area.

I'm mostly looking forward to a good single player game, but no doubt will fire up multi now and then.

Yaa looking forward to it for the SP side, been awhile since I actually got a game to play the SP side of things (think HL2 was the last one) while MP is always fun SP is good to just get back to blasting bad guys and figuring out yourself the best course of action to take in a situation, ie HL2 figuring out the various puzzles etc built with the physics engine

Had a look at the screenshots on the stalker site last night and very impressed :D

Wassup lads i felt it well past time i signed up and gave bazz, hippy and inspector some crap :)

Stalker has been a long time coming i played a tech demo for it about 2 odd years ago when it originally came to fruition, been waiting with baited breath for this one the AI and scope of this game is going to be quite impressive. Latest trailer for this is looking even better than expected, good to see they have put a lot of effort to get the graphics up to par as well.

Really looking forward to this one. Really didn't think it was going to see the light of day, so I stopped following it for about two years. Can't wait!

Been following this one awhile myself, could be great, caution however, review in Powerplay was not very optimistic on the bug front however, so fingers crossed. :>

I would have thought after the many years spent on it that they would have ironed out most of the bugs ;o

OK!

I would have thought after the many years spent on it that they would have ironed out most of the bugs (or washed depending on your preference)

If I get time later I will post some of the review comments if people interested.....

Mind you the premise and gameplay sound way cool as ever ;)

Just refinished HL2 so hankering after another kick-ass FPS.

Have you tried Farcry? I'm playing the mod Matto4 at the moment and is actually quite good.

Nope, never got around to it, probably coz when it came out the PC I had was no where near good enough.

So am I and liking it a lot. Unfortunately I have just got to the weapons lab and picked up the (fancy BFG type) gun and all my control settings go haywire and when I quit the game there is some sort of memory error message in the background. Just trying to find out what is wrong because I can't go any further now.

But way cool addon. If you have Far Cry get Matto 3 and Matto 4 - 4 carries on from 3 but can be played without having played 3.
