haha thats why I swore I would never work helpdesk (and have not) ... instead I'm the poor bastard who has to interpret what the helpdesk has said, and inturn what that means the user has said... and then inturn find out what the actual problem is

Yes i've also seen that flying game, it's also available here, I thought it was really good, but I didn't really like the bicycles, the brakes were a bit funny.

Having said that, flying games.

Most flying games you cannot just download, you need to buy the dvd/cd from a gaming shop. VRConcepts can help as they have a good range, as well as prompt delivery and lots of extras.

Il2 is WWII shoot em up, but has good visuals and lots of extras available off the web.

Flight Simulator is a realistic flight simulator - no shot 'em up, no bang bang. Just the dynamics of flight and all its wonders - navigation, communication and controls. But this needs a kick arse computer to run smoothly.

Battle of Britain II is simply the BoB, shooting down Heinkels and Spitfires. Great visuals but it can take a while to get the hang of it. But then, it's quite cheap.

They're awesome games, but to fly effectively you'll need a good joystick - keyboard flying really doesn't cut it, just like driving rFactor with a keyboard also falls short of having good control.

With flying, you want to have smooth on screen movement - which usually means having a newish computer, lots of ram and a very good video card. The more you spend, the better you get.

Google is no good if you don't know what you're searching for, and teamsracer didn't know what he's searching for, I suppose you could search for 'flying games' or 'flight sims' but then you still won't know if the ones you found are any good or not

which is why he asked here.

But teamsracer, this forum is called 'FPS / Flight / Sea' not 'Flightsim' if you want flightsim games the IL2 series are good (older style of planes), Lomac or Falcon 4 are very good realistic flight sim games for more modern aircraft. Flightsim X is pretty good as far as realism and graphics go, it's flight only but conerntrates more on the actual flying of planes than shooting things down, but u need a reasonably decent computer to run it. Don't forget next time to stick a decent description in of what you're after, as Prom said - we're not mind readers.

You started a thread which made no sense, it didn't explain what you wanted and you didn't go to any effort not only in your post nor in fact before you posted. People gave you a hard time and pointed out a few facts to you.

The theme of this forum encourages SIM people, people who are willing to go a step further than your average Joe gamer so that they can enjoy their gaming, especially multiplayer. People like Prometheus and Sandy K are these type of gamers. They have gone the extra distance and beyond and have earn't the right to speak freely and to give opinions. You have done nothing that comes even close to their contributions and what you should be doing is reading their opinion and taking note of it.

If you want to continue to be a part of this community I suggest you put a little more effort into your posts and input into the community and show a bit more respect for those who have already done so before you expect others to give you any respect.
