Bioshock Demo

Post by Jetboy » Tue Aug 21, 2007 12:09 pm

With all the reviews spamming up the net giving this game 10/10 and very high 9's the demo's now out (at 1.9Gb)

http://www.ausgamers.com/files/details/html/30227

Bit of a false start as Fileplanet had it initially as a FP only download and was encrypted so people couldnt start playing it till the day prior to release.....unfortunately someone at FP must have uploaded the un-encrypted version and forgot to take it down when they uploaded and linked to the encrypted ver....next thing you know...FP had pulled both files, but was to late :D

Its now starting to appear on the legit download sites as well as the many torrents, FP meanwhile is sitting in the corner nursing its wounds

I have the full game already sitting on my pc :D

I just have to wait for steam to unlock it tomorrow...

It was about $72 to buy from steam on Friday, don't know what it will be now with our nice stable dollar. And a 6gig download out of my 10gig cap..

Looking forward to this one!

Standard practice for demo's these days... Without it hackers just use pieces of the demo exe to bypass copy protection.

I have picked up mine locally (Auckland) for $80.00. (Cheaper than VR Concepts!)
