For those of you who have the 'Orange Box' edition of HL2 you can now play the public beta for TF2.

InSPire Net has a TF2 server running also

I'm waiting for the copy that doesn't require me to buy another copy of HL2 and episode 1.. Should be good fun though once its out

I might get the Orange Box, as I dont have Steam, or HL2 at all.. havent even seen it yet.

GPStore has it currently listed for 18 October, VR Concepts don't have it listed yet.

Been thinking about getting this one as well, a nice collection of games for the price.

I suspect we could put together a team without much trouble How many do you need for a TF2 team? About 10 a side?

We should share our steam ID's to make it easier to meet up online.

I had a very quick go at TF2 last night while I was waiting for Portal/Episode 2 to unlock.

Portal was interesting, a couple of rather tricky bits, but finished the basic game in about 2 and a half hours.

Portal is cool. Finished it, and have completed all 6 advanced ones and 1/18 of the challenges

There are 7-8 lads over at Simcentral playing this game on Weds nights. I don't have the game personally, but you lot should challenge them

In my 30second attempt the other day to get the in game voice chat to recognise my mic, it wouldn't work. So teamspeak might be easier.

I might have another go with the in game system sometime. My mic is on a different soundcard.

OK - So are we going to have a go this Wednesday or should we use it to get the FBI/DuD/MI5/KSR guys together and have a bit of a practice as I'm sure the SuckCentralUnity has been doing?
