The Revv FM Comeback 2009

The Revv FM is NZ's only 24 hour 365 day a year hard rock & heavy metal radio station. It is the dominator of all other station's earning a strong reputation through NZ (mainly NI) over the years of 2004-2008

While the Revv was hitting its peak in the years of 05,06,07 some behind the scenes business in late '07 meant that the Revv had to pull the pin (reason's out of our control)

But in 2009, us Revv boys got together and decided it was time to lit the fire again and have since taken the neccessary steps to make this happen. Its a long road, but going well and we are starting to hit our straps.

We have 3/4 of our gear at present and hosted a fundraiser gig that saw over 120 people come through the door.

If anybody wants to help in anyway then get in touch with Jamie or myself and we will have a chat

Recent Revv FM surveys show, that between March 2005 & Jan 2008 the crew had: Attended more than 60 gigs around NZ, Spent more than 170 hours on the road, Driven more than 12,000km around NZ & Broadcast over 28,000 hours over 1198 days! All for NZ metal... Brutal \m/

Right the Revv FM here in palmerston north is on the way back and we have setup an online broadcast streaming to the world!ohhh yes thats right, Your favourite heavy metal station at the click of a button!!! here are some simple instructions, and a couple of options to listen, I would use the media player as it sounds 5 times better that the browser option!

To listen to the Revv FM online follow these steps :

1 - Visit http://www.pirateradio.com/downloads" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

2 - Download the destiny media player for pc shown on this page

3 - Install the media player and load it up

4 - Once running, click on the tab on the left "RADIO"

5 - To find the Revv FM click the music section then the METAL section,
you will spot the REVV FM there!!!! Click and your away!
