Sasquatch could take the swift in, its about the same size and with the supercharger, it may even keep up with a kart

Making fun of Nascar fans is fun, and if they chase me, I just turn right.

Doubt it. Karts held the lap record at Ruapuna up to not that recently, don't think a Swift can go that fast, regardless of how many corners Sas "Accidentally Misses"

Interesting.. the Canterbury Car Club website lap record info shows FORMULA HOLDEN DIXON Scott RLH REYNARD 92D 5/12/1998 1m15.810
What was the kart laptime, out of interest and what class kart?

I honestly wouldn't know, I havent follow lap times etc, but I know that time from dixon is the one that beat the old Kart record. I do know it was the one of the Superkart classes either 250cc or 500cc Im not sure

I'm not sure if they ever consider karts as official lap times.

Fastests superkarts are 250cc two stroke race bike engines and an all up weight including driver of around 200kg. 65+HP and top speed over 250kph.

I've raced my KT100 at Manfeild and Taupo and the superkarts lap you like you're standing still.. bloody fast!

I've also raced in the WPKA series before, although never done all 5 rounds. Hawkes Bay is a shitter of a track.. avoid it like the plague!

Been to busy/ broke for racing lately, but must get back into it soon and try out Hampton Downs :D
