Looking to record screen, and add voiceover while recording

Post by MrBling » Wed Nov 25, 2009 2:11 pm

Hey guys,

So I play a lot of poker and I'm looking to create some videos of my action, with a voiceover I record as I'm playing. The goal is to eventually dish these out to mates, looking to take their game to the next level.

Can anyone suggest a good, preferably free, app that can do this with ease.

I would prefer you can pick up the specific window, and not the whole screen.

Thanks for any tips

http://www.jingproject.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

^ this is a free one but is limited to 5 minutes per recording...

if thats not enough for what you want to do, this one (made by the same company) has a thirty day trial but is fully featured and pretty damn fine if you wanna pay for it :rolleyes:

Thanks for the tip U Turn....
I definitely need it for more than 5 min, but don't want to pay for a full version, particularly that much.

Anyone else know of any?

Get FRAPS, then just use Windows Movie Maker or similar to put a voiceover on top of the video

Thanks Bull,

I really wanna be able to record audio and vido at the same time so my thought process is working at 100%.
It makes the video more authentic, and will portray eveything I am thinking as I go.
