My ears R still ringing LOL
MY EARS R STILL RINGING LOL
IF U LIVE UP AUCKLAND WAY GO U WILL LOV IT GREAT SHOW
A rare warm and still night in Wellington last night meant the AC/DC concert was heard from suburbs several kilometres away.
Residents from as far away as Kilbirnie and Karori reported being able to clearly make out the songs played by the band during the two hour-plus Westpac Stadium concert.
In the hours preceding the concert most bars within the vicinity of the venue were packed out with people mainly dressed in black T-shirts and hundreds also lingered on footpaths outside.
Feedback from fans suggested the gig hit the spot, and many will no doubt return for the second Wellington show tomorrow before the band plays at Auckland's Western Springs next Thursday.
Police said there was "the usual disorder" that comes with big events, and the streets of Wellington were left strewn with bottles and a few regurgitated meals this morning, but there didn't appear to be any major incidents.
The Black Ice Tour, in support of their 15th album, is one of the biggest and loudest rock'n'roll shows to come to New Zealand, with its towering walls of speakers and amplifiers, giant video screens, and hundreds of lights. I STOOD NEXT 2 BLOODY THINGS!!!!

Re: AC/DC
Good Lord that rocked.....ears are still a bit munted and the heads ringing a bit but standing not 20m from the stage and that proverbial wall of speakers will do that
Checks and Shihad kicked arse as the opening bands, never heard of the Checks before but will be having a hunt to see what they've done now, Shihad played all the classics much to the crowds support.....with one comment being "see those wall of speakers there.....my guitar sounds are going to come out of those....this f'n rocks"
As for ACDC...Angus and the guitar solo from Hell.......
