Yeap I know that, There was a recent incident in Whakatane i think.

But Yeap if they were brought up right then i don't see a problem but i rekon they should be banned because they won't get in the hand's of idiots.

Yeap it's down to the owner's But they need to be banned as some people are bringing them up as Fighter's/Weapon's/Gang dogs etc,

And just look at the story recently of this 5yr old girl.
Very Sad to see that some people want to bring a dog up like that...

KSR-Scooter has a pitty, Lockey (The Dog) is the most happiest genttle Dog ever, tails allways wagging and its realy energetic, its not the Dogs that are the problem, its the people. They way they are raising them. Thats like Banning Guns. Guns don't kill people, people kill people. Just my 2 cents

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Agree with Huggies,

People struggle to bring up children let alone dogs, no wonder this country has gone down the gurgler

Quoted again ftw. My exact thoughts. Get the so called dangerous dogs out of the hands of benefit sucking, drug addict window lickers, and of course those waste of space people that make them fighting dogs, and have them brought up by human beings with brain cells, and the dogs will not be vicious.

Not true at all, those dogs can be unpredictible whether they are brought up well or not. I've got scars to prove it. q-

Theres always two sides with this argument, as there is with guns etc.

On the one hand you can say that its because of their bad upbringing, and its the owners faults,

on the other hand, you can say that lions etc could be pets because if they are brough up correctly they may not attack people ... in reality a lion is still a carnivore/hunter and its instincts can and will take over ... much like a pitbull.

I don't want to see Pitbull's getting the boot, but maybe some more rules surrounding with them, much like a gun license ... as they both have the same dangers.

Then again, I still think people should have to sit a license to raise a kid as well. lol

Any dog can be unpredictable, just the other day I heard a story of a german sheppard (nice dogs right) that one day just bit her owner of 8years in the Legs and then in the arm until the owner could crawl outside and lock the dog inside and call for help. The dog continued it's rampage ripping all the furniture up putting holes in the walls and just basically going nuts. When the police arrived they shot it point black in the head twice and it somehow it still was alive running around the house blood going everywhere totally screwing the whole house until it finally died.

What I'm tryna say is anything or anyone (the HB dude that started picking off policemen - Molinar) can just flip. And turn ugly. That's why we have mental institutions and prison's.

Pitbull's are more aggressive in nature, but there's no reason why they should be outlawed because they have been used in inappropriate ways by a lesser man.

guys just think if they do get the pitball banned from nz those people that use pitballs for dog fighting will just go use another/diffrent speices for dog fighting its not just those pitballs that are dangerios if your gonna play that card every single breed of dog can be dangerios and trust me i have prouf it was quite a big dog but iv got four scares on my face and 1 nearly blinded me in one eye and all i did was run past it i mean all dogs are unpredictable. and the reason it bit me was because it was misstreated and well beaten in away and if it wasnt for that i wouldnt have any scares. guys think about it
