The Metallica/Lou Reed collaboration album - titled "Lulu" - has been dated for release on October 31st.
The album is based off a story "Earth Spirit", which was about a Femme Fatale and Jack The Ripper.

Heres the first single from the Lou Reed/Metallica collaboration project, quite like it, certainly isn't Metal or anything but its a lot heavier then what I was expecting from Lou Reed.

Now i love metallica but why lou reed, i dont know. having mr reed talk his way thru a bunch of songs does nothing for me. the music seems a little basic but im sure thats just to match lou's vocal talent.

The musics pretty cool and when James' voice kicks in it's pretty mean but when Lou Reed is doing his bit it's just odd.
