Rugby League Live PS3/X360

Considering grabbing this for Xmas, and since I know there are a lot of staunch League supporters here, anyone played the game and got any reviews for it?

Ive heard/read a lot of mixed reviews from absolute rubbish to pretty decent, so thought Id ask if any of ya's have played it?

Hired it, Gameplay is rubbish, Vatuvei was averaging 1000m a game as you gave it to him and put on the afterburners as the warriors.

Its worse than Jonah Lomu Rugby, but then again nothing has lived up to that yet.

I hired it and had a heck of a lot of fun on it playing with a mate. I can't imagine it would be any good in single player though as the rivalry wouldn't be the same. If you're planning on getting the game to play multiplayer with someone then not a bad game but don't buy it if you're planning on playing single player.

Rent it before you buy it would be the best bet.

Haha yea definitely a good thing, I've saved quite a bit of money by renting a game I thought I would buy only to find it's crap and over hyped.

Hired it on the 360 -

Game play is pretty good compared to previous league titles. Not as stiff as the last titles also and you can have a bit more fun on it. Still got nothing on an EA sports title. Would only play it 2 player and Blendy has indicated.
For a true league fan, but then again I didn't buy it.

But has anyone played Rugby league 3 on wii looking at getting it and just wanting to know others opinions on it
