Crazy just plain crazy.
Only just got power back on, had to do the long drop thing in the back yard. House is ok, contents hammered(Sim is ok though
)
As Bull has said the city is pretty much poked, and my heart goes out to all that have lost someone.
Problem is, we all don't know if we have lost someone we know untill all the names and photos have been released.
Cant really grieve yet either, it's still going on, super stressed with big aftershocks, and according to the moon man (Who I dislike alot!) another big quake is coming.
So I'm heading down south to Invercargill on the 16th and coming back 24th.
The date for another big shock is supposed to be the 19th or 20th, and the chatter has already started for people leaving.
Again, crazy shit!
18th is a day off for Christchurch, and would be a good time to leave town for a long weekend.
Plan for the worst, hope for the best and deal with whatever happens.
If nothing happens, then sweet. (And the moon man gets billed for the lost productivity in Christchurch of scared and paniced people.)
Stay safe, everyone in NZ. Just be weary of where you are on those days, and a bit of advice from someone with earthquake experience,
if you hear a big approaching super loud rumble that you think cant possibly get any louder, RUN! Get outside, get out in the open. You have about 5-10 seconds before the violent shaking starts depending on how close you are to the epicenter. This is precious time to get to safety.
