Here's some info about the Space Shuttle that is due to relaunch soon.

NASA have improved coverage of the launch (report available here that includes using a WB-57 high altitude jet, flying at 60,000ft that carries a 4.2m onboard camera/telescope. As well as HDTV, 100fps cameras - similar concept to the super slo-mo's seen on some sports events on tv.
Launch is due @May 15.
