Place your bets
Moving down to Wellington this weekend (Sat) and moving into barracks at the Trentham Army Camp (still Airforce though )
Will be ringing up Telecom on Monday to get a phone line and ADSL sorted to my room out there...the bet is on for how long they'll take to actually get the phone line in and ADSL on
my bet - 2 weeks
Will post here once I'm back up and running

well back online (kinda) thanks to Inspire...still issues going on with the bitstream service and I know that the guys at Inspire are jumping on Telecom with a big hammer asking what the #@#) is going on so they've given me dialup to sooth the pain
So I'm currently humming along in the world of 56k till my bitstream goes live......I warn everyone now if you've gotten used to high speed internet then DO NOT go back...almost bought a tear to my eye when I started downloading and saw the speed step up to 3.2k per sec....not what you want to see when your trying to get 800+mb of the latest Americas Army game

Hopefully (and by that I mean the "world record sized can of hope"), there should be a fix in place by Monday.
If not ..... well, I've yelled at all the people I can, all we can do now is wait for Telecom to sort it's shit out.
Will keep you posted (and if we finally get official notification that it's fixed), I'll give you a ring to see if we can't ease the pain a bit...

*crosses Jetboy off the list of "Customers that have issues"...
Great to hear your line is running! Pity it took a move to do it, Telecom are still dragging their feet where possible.
Thankfully, we've applied enough pressure and forced them to work out a number of the issues, so new UBS customers aren't being hit in the same way as you and a number of others were.
Roll on the good times.
