Daytona 500, at Daytona indoor karts

Theres an ad on the radio at the moment that I keep missing half of, but Daytona in Palmy are running a 500 lap race for 7 teams of 4. Costs $200 a team to enter and I keep missing the rest of the ad..

Sounds interesting to me, whos keen for the team of 4?

Yeah heard it myself so gave em a ring.

Daytona 500 (500laps)
$200 per team
Sunday 12 June
11am-2pm approx
Compulsory Tire and Fuel stops

Winning team moves onto bigger and better things, Nth Island champs etc cant remember exactly

Sounds awesome, only catch I could come up is its first 7 teams in only.

Hopefully see you guys out there, just trying to convince Skelo and Draco to come, already got 4 th at work.

hrmm.. thats a pretty sucky date.. Its club day at the kart club so that rules me out. Ah well. It was an interesting idea for awhile. Probably why they chose that date, so all the good local karters would be busy at the real kart track

Vengeance racing is signed up (well once form arrives but spot is supposedly reserved) with a little outside help from work as Rob C couldn't make it over.

Come on lads wheres our challenge gonna come from?

Note we have very little kart experience (other than a couple of happy hours at work there) so bring it on!

Since there is a Nth Isl champs afterwards, you will probably find Daytona in Petone are doing the same thing.

We have entered and will be there, just seeing if there will be some friendly competition from the fellow Nascar season racers
