Round 4 of our Kiwi Sim Racing スプリント攻撃 - Sprint Attack Series Takes Us to the idyllic island of Sardinia. Being a wide track with tight turns, we should get some fine battles (dive bombs)
Track: Mores (Autodromo di Mores)
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... =917387048
Schedule:
8:00pm - Official Practice
8:55pm - Drivers Briefing (you have to be on at this time to be allocated a grid position)
9:00pm - Racing Commences
Format:
3x 15 Minute heats based off pre-determined grids.
Last week we ran some ad-hoc weights based on a guesstimate, dependant on how Seca feels about doing that it'll continue.

Also keen to hear peoples thoughts about how the weight worked out?
As mentioned it was pretty much a guess, but made Race 3 super tight for a long time.

I thought the weight penalties worked really well to create a very evenly paced field with some awesome door to door racing in Race 2 and Race 3 in particular.
I think we should do more of this in the future. Not for all series perhaps but for 'fun series' like these, I think it could work very well. Perhaps any series where we don't do qualifications?

Cheers everyone for last night, track probably didn't lend itself as well to weights as Hockenheim, but was pretty good by the end, so should have a basis to move forward with next week.
Sorry JP for the crash in the last race, I just broke way way way too late.

Great fun again.
Gotta love it when it's this close 12 laps in.
