NZrFL50: Round 6 - Cleveland

Welcome to the series Finale of NZrFL at Cleveland

We cross the United States once again (just shy of 2,500 miles) to the East coast into Ohio.

The Cleveland race track was hosted at Burke Lakefront airport which is an active airport and used to shut down for a week for events to be run. races ran from 1982 to 2007

Being an actual airport, the surface is quite bumpy, but is also extremely wide so should provide plenty of passing opportunities.

Weights to start round 6

rFactor 2 has a weight limit of 255kg, but I will continue to calculate the weight beyond this limit.

Schedule (19th March):
8:00pm - Official Practice
8:30pm - Qualifying (15 Minute open session - do as many laps as you'd like)
9:00pm (Sharp) - Racing Commences

Special Notes for Cleveland
The track can be somewhat disorientating being so wide, so please be aware of your surroundings.

I would very much recommend using Crew Chief if you don't already, being so wide, people may be beside you, but so far across you cannot actually see them. The spotter within Crew Chief solves
this.

The pit lane speed limit when exiting the garage is not easily identifiable, however it's fine when returning to the track from pit lane.

Pit exit comes out onto the track right in T1. There's no real blend lines, but please communicate when you are exiting the pits. Racers on the track have right of way if 2 vehicles are converging.

Thanks for that! This track certainly is a lot trickier than it looks.

Added some notes in regards to pit exit specifically.

Was interesting last night,

I really enjoyed the track in the end, something completely different to usual had some good racing.

It caused a couple of incidents, but nothing too major.
