KSR: Revival of the Legends

Going back further in time than the recent BTCC series, we're pulling out the great Touring Car Revival Mod. These cars represent an era of motor racing where there was mullets, a hint of safety and a bunch of sideways action. As all the vehicles have various strengths and weaknesses we'll be running 1 specific vehicle for each race night

Schedule:
[19/11] - Official Practice
[26/11] - Round 1 - Timaru - BMW Evo
[03/12] - Round 2 - Eastern Creek - Rover
[10/12] - Round 3 - Sandown - VLTWR Commodore
[17/12] - Round 4 - Oran Park - Volvo


Race Night Schedule:
[20:00] - Official Practice
[20:55] - Drivers Briefing + Grids Drawn
[21:00] - Racing Commences

All Times Are NZDT TimeZone

Race Night Format:
To encourage the great, door-to-door we have stuck with the same format from the last league
3x 12 Minute Sprint Races - Grids carried out by pre-determined draw (everyones grids add up to the same)
1x 20 Minute Feature Race - Grid will be reverse results of Races 1/2/3 combined

Race Settings and Rules:
Flag Rules - Black Only
Damage - 50%
Fuel usage - 1X
Tire Usage - 1X
Mechanical Failures - Normal
Practice Time - 60 Minutes
Race Length - Sprint & Feature
Type of Start - Standing

Driving Aids:
Traction Control - 0
Anti Lock Brakes - 0
Auto Clutch - Yes
Driving View - Open

Crossing The Finish Line:
Please refrain from post-race chat and celebrations ("congratulations", burnouts etc.) until after all competitors have crossed the line.

Points:
Races will feature a 50% race completion threshold in order to qualify for the finishing bonus.
Races will also feature a crossing the line bonus if you complete the race.

FYI: The server says Timaru but when I join it goes to Oran Park.

I missed a server setting that pauses the sessions while no players are online. So you happened to join just as all sessions for Timaru finished and it rolled track.

Should no longer happen (unless Timaru is actually just broken)

And the Beemers loves to be thrashed, can be setup as a drift car pretty easily as well.

I missed the first practice due to being overseas and I'll depart again in a few days so I'm not sure if I can make it on Tuesday - but I'll hopefully make it back for the last two races!

Thanks everyone who had a run in the league, many different names over different nights.

Congrats to MMJ on winning the title in pretty convincing fashion in the end.

Cheers to Riven for hosting us as per usual.

Will look forward to seeing everyone in 2020 and whatever that holds in store.

Had fun in the old girls, great memories of watching these cars as a teen back in the day
