Welcome to Round 1 of the KSR Fall Enduro League!

First up and it's a car killer, Mount Panorama in Sydney, Australia.

It is situated on a hill with the dual official names of Mount Panorama and Wahluu and is best known as the home of the Bathurst 1000 motor race held each October, and the Bathurst 12 Hour event held each February. The track is 6.213 km (3.861 mi) in length, and is technically a street circuit.

In more recent years, the circuit has hosted longer endurance races including the Bathurst 24 Hour (2003–04) and the Bathurst 12 Hour (1991–94 and 2007 onwards) Since 2011, the Bathurst 12 Hour has become a FIA GT3 race, and became a part of the inaugural Intercontinental GT Challenge in 2016.

This race will be tough, with a lot of attrition. If you can stick it out you will come away with a good finish.

That Mclaren is hammering it around there.. I am going to have to lose all my wing to have any hope riding 6th gear. Betting the gearing is not the same as what we are stuck with in game.

GT3's are pretty stuck in what ratios they're allowed to run aren't they?

There is GT3 and then there is GT3..

A series run in Aussie with 'GT3' cars might not be running the same rules as the FIA World GT3 series, which might also be different to the LeMans GT3

Actually that's not the case, The Bathurst 12 hour has nothing to do with Aussie GT other than some of the teams that run it. It's run to full SRO rules so exactly the same as Europe and is part of the intercontinental GT championship.

My pick is they have the gearing the way they do so it never runs out of puff on any track, even if it isnt as realistic.

Remember guys, little bit earlier start than we're used to because of the length of the event.

I’m not sure I can make 8 pm for qualifying but I’d like to start at the back anyway.

Really enjoyed last night.

Massive mix in strategy played out between people. And if you take out human error it all becomes extremely close at the end.

Sebring will be similar as it's also difficult on the tyres.

Bathurst didn't fail to deliver, some really awesome racing going on across the entire field! I very much enjoyed my on-going battle with Growler for 7th place but unfortunately I was robbed by my own stupidity. :D

In an attempt to overtake Growler again, after making a detour through the local scenery myself, I opted for an aggressive splash and dash - sticking with my worn-but-still-functional medium tires. Unfortunately I had miscalculated that after the timer had 0, that there would have been 1 more additional lap. 8o Resulting in me running out of battle juice coming over the Skyline and having to coast down the mountain in neutral to the finish line. :larf:

Epic stuff all around and I can't wait for round 2!
