NZiRL 1: KSR Goes iRacing
Starting on Thursday nights, Kiwi Sim Racing is going to be venturing into the world of iRacing!
Our inaugural season will see nothing but FREE CONTENT involved - so anyone concerned over costs or getting your money's worth need not to worry!
We will be giving all four disciplines a go in our first season to get a good taste of what iRacing has to offer!
Schedule:
[17/09] - Mazda MX5 @ Okayama
[24/09] - Streetstocks @ Thompson Speedway
[01/10] - Pro 2 Lite @ Phoenix 2008 RX (Legacy)
[08/10] - Cadillac CTS-V @ Laguna Seca
[15/10] - Dirt Streetstock @ Lanier Dirt
Each week/discipline will have it's own unique format, which will be posted in each week's individual post.
Race Night Schedule:
[19:45] - Practise Session Opens (You MUST join this session before qualifying or you will not be able to join)
[20:10] - Drivers Briefing
[20:15] - Qualifying
[20:20] - Racing Commences
Haven't got iRacing??
As most know, iRacing is a subscription based racing sim that has a heap of pay to use content. The fortunate thing, is there is also a heap of FREE content available to race with, just from the base subscription. You will not need to purchase any additional content to take part in this series!
How to join? The good news is, iRacing is currently doing 50% off on all new memberships!

Skins:
iRacing has its own in-built livery creator for each car where you can choose from a range of decals and styles, colour combinations, rim colours and number styles, all for free.
On top of this, custom skins are supported via the Trading Paints website & app available Here
Once registered and the app is downloaded, you can browse from 1000's of user created skins, upload your own, or choose from many of the Kiwi Sim Racing liveries already done - our Kiwi Sim Racing showroom is available Here
I will also be making a few different colour alternatives for each of the Kiwi Sim Racing designs for the cars we are using so we aren't all in the same colour layout!
If you need help or any questions please do post below!

At 745 it will show in the hosted sessions area on the UI. I will be on Discord from around 630 to help out if needed. Main thing is making sure you have all the content download and up to date.

And that is a wrap!
Top post has links to all five round results, and the overall standings ladder!
I want to say a big thank you to all the drivers who attended this series. It was great to race with some familiar faces in a different environment and hopefully it provides us with another platform to continue our racing together.
Congratulations to the top 3, Matthew Pluck, Leo Scott and Hayden Carter, consistent and well deserved.
